I never understand the people who find Nukes controversial they are probably the only reason we still have a civilization last century the great powers of the world decided to kill each other 2 times in 20 years if the US and USSR decided to slug it out in the 70s there most likely wouldn't have been anything left to salvage even with out nukes the Nukes stopped that from happening

@maybearkamaybenot11 There are much worse weapons than Nukes even if there was a full scail nuke change between NATO and the USSR the planet wouldn't have been destroyed the Europe would have been flattened Russia and the US seriously hurt but other than that most places would have been 100% ok If there were no nukes we would have 100% have had WW3 killing hundreds of million of people on the low estimate
