Putin isn't panicked at all Russia did a small fraction of the mobilization they could have calling up just 300k all of the men called up are previous service members as to make their training very easy the men called up will not be conscripts but set up as contracted soldiers (Regular army) so better paid better trained better equipped

Right now (as of 30 min ago) Ukraine has launched a foolish counter attack in the west near Kherson the reason I say its foolish is because they dont have the men to lose to just throw them into russian guns like that even if they take a few miles of land a couple towns etc the losses to achieve that will not be worth it especially when they are in the process of losing the east of their nation
