I see no reason for Russia to spend men going for 1940s style mass charges to take Heavily defended Ukrainian positions when they can just stand back and fire hundreds of thousands of artillery shells a day on those positions till the Ukrainians are unwilling to reinforce them anymore and the Russian take trenches full of skeletons the longer this war drags on the better for Russia. Meanwhile the Ukrainians are desperate to have any victory to keep their people fighting so they launched a series of extremely costly counter offences one in Kherson has failed miserably but the one in the east has been a bit more effective so far time will tell what happens in the future

  4. Putin is 100% fine if the EU doesn't capitulate Russia is happy to move its energy to Asia where the future is basically the EU has destroyed itself in a impotent attempt to harm Russia. Right now the Russian supply chain has basically learned how to build everything they need without the US and EU meanwhile the EU knows without Russian Gas this winter their industry is going to grind to a halt and there is nothing they can do about it. This winter the EU will rip itself apart as the energy prices get too high and the people start to suffer

  5.  @TheJKDragon  Russia & China are building several pipelines other pipelines are being planned to India an LNG deals are being hammered out for Asia Europe is beyond screwed there's really nothing that can be done to save them short of capitulation to Russia and as the population of the EU continues to suffer this fall n winter the people of the EU nations may force their governments to capitulate or be replaced with politicians who will do what is best for their nations
