That's bs though because the Ring is one of the bumpiest tracks.. that's why it's used as a testing ground. Bc having an overly stiff setup will cars just bounce around on the Ring

@sptauto thanks 😅 Cars built at the Ring specifically need to be softer and have higher ride height than at 90%+ of other circuits in order to set a fast lap time due to the bumpiness and crazy elevation changes. Springs / Damping can't be too hard or else you'll upset the car and bounce right off the track like I said. Sebring is another track with a similar phenomenon. Tldr compared to most other race tracks, cars will need to be setup for more compliance and damping at the Ring.
