Worst is that public schools (at least Baltimore BCPSS) just summarize that damn near everything was invented by Edison cos they knew 80% of us wouldn't do our research on historic figures. I didn't thoroughly find out about Nikola Tesla until my junior year in high school and this was the first time hearing about Le Prince... shitty world we live in
