  2. As a Marylander, I wouldn't mind us annexing DC but those folks doesn't want to share power with the likes of Baltimoreans nor Eastern Shore residents, they want full immunity. I don't see DC ever becoming a state but, rather, Puerto Rico. Granted, PR is slightly democratic (?), so with that being a possibility, Republicans would find a way to split a majority RED state into two to balance things out. Petty, yes but it's the best way to keep everyone on an equal plane.

  3.  @007kingifrit  I don't mind it. I think it would be fair for both. If DC becomes a state, the ultimatum should be that Republicans have a collective group of counties from "one" RED state that is equal to DC and allow that become a state alongside DC to keep things fair & even
