@Snipedog1978 At a time during the 1970s, what do you think happened?... the mayor of NYC was looking to sue the Maras for using the likeness of "NEW YORK" in their name for the team once they left for the Polo Grounds. At that point, the Giants referred to themselves as just "GIANTS" with no ties to New York. Long story short; the Giants & Jets (later in the 80s) no longer became New York's teams. So, technically, the Bills are New York's ONLY team. The Giants are "Jersey's" team... no cares either way for the Jets 🤷 but you can find out for yourself. Using "NEW YORK" is a revenue generator because Moonachie or Secaucus Giants doesn't have a good ring to it

$500 million in 1996(?) is close to a billion dollars today. That's a lot of money Nashville invested for some fat ass crybaby oil tycoon from Texas The Pegulas also owns the Buffalo Sabres and were screwing with the county seat to uproot both the Bills and Sabres to Austin, TX. Problem is, Buffalo know that these two teams are their one asset they can't allow to leave. What else would the city have?
