  1. I think when it's all said & done. The defendant can believe and even admit to the crime BUT if no substantial evidence could prove the subject guilty in the court of law, you are innocent. Police/detectives can lie to the moon about having links that could prematurely prove you are guilty but it means nothing if no legitimate evidence is present to determine you are innocent or guilty
