Ah, yes Poland. The one friend that used to be cool, but is now complaining at every party how he doesn't like the free snacks and the selection of drinks. And everyone else is increasingly wondering why they invited him to begin with...

@nexor7809 You're mentioning "multicultural" approach. I know what you mean by that dog whistle, mate. Unfortunately, you come off as a hypocrite as Poles currently constitute the biggest internal migrant group in the EU. Just remember that if you ever consider leaving the EU, if it's human rights and liberal values are too much... 50 years ago Poland was a country in economic ruin and with limited freedom for its citizens. Beware you don't return to that in the next 50 years.

@williamhenry8914 I certainly hope I'm wrong. I admire the Poles and hope the best. Sadly, history has taught me to be wary when tiny men promise things to big crowds...

@urbanistgod A politicized superior court has nothing to do with democracy. And when you open that floodgate, you've opened up for any and all "reforms" that coincidentally and suddenly become "constitutional". Also, if conservatism was the dominant ideology, women wouldn't have the vote and slavery would be legal. You'd think history would have thought you a thing or two about simply complying to the current power structures instead of changes to benefit everyone more equitably.
