Thanks for covering the subject. Great video despite the occasional mistake. I votes yes, but in reality the outcome didn't matter with regards to EU security, least of all for NATO countries that are in the EU.

Using the Mercator map projection is like using a funhouse mirror to measure the size of your dick. The Mercator projection is extremely inaccurate if not outright misinformative. Greenland is only the size of Saudi Arabia or Mexico, not larger than the US as the map would have you believe. It's time to simply retire this obsolete piece of colonial history.
