  1. Just be careful in your judgment of these gentlemen, that you yourself do not exhibit fundamentalist arrogance and bigotry. It's unfortunately very common in every ideology, even for atheists.

  3. I'm a Muslim, but not a religious scholar. As far as I know there is no clash between the theory of evolution, the creation of the cosmos and Islamic creation myths as most people do not (and should not) interpret it literally. There is no "created in God's image" according to Islam as God's characteristics are essentially unknowable. I don't know anything about these guys, but unless they're Ulamas (Islam scholars) I wouldn't listen to them at all. They're more likely this aggressive strain of people we see in every ideology/religion that confuse aggressive proselytising with actual faith without putting in the effort to understand even their own religion. Arrogance and ignorance in a neat little package. 🤦
