As a Palestinian Muslim man in Europe that had to start in a new "high school" (we have a different system in Denmark) in October 2001, I can definitively relate. In 2010-2011 it was the same thing with "Arab democracy" and completely missing the point that true democracy needs generations of strong institutions for the rule of law to indeed, well, rule. 2 decades+ later and sadly I can still fully relate to your great points. (edited with a few clarifications)

"Woke" just means being aware of problematic social issues in our societies.

They're punks. Uneducated, poorly raised punks. And I truly believe these people are sad and lonely, desperate for attention and a sense of belonging. Sadly, their followers are also the same.

Trans-Romanian. Isnt that just an actual term for Moldovans? 😉

I unsubscribed from your channel because you bring nothing new, ever. Its effectively Anti-Russian sensationalism. Imagine an Ivan sitting at home and just making videos about stupid US legislators and Florida laws? It has become exceedingly boring, tbh. I'd watch it again if you chose to talk more about the vast social, political and economic problems that Russia is facing.

Russia is pretty great, unless you happen to be female/black/muslim/LGBT and/or like to have an opinion.

We all loved Red Alert. Gamers are intelligent enough to discern between a fantasy setting and actual political messages, otherwise we'd all be running over prostitutes and shooting at Brown people...

It's the exact same tactic employed by Israel in Western media. Obfuscation and deflection to the point that the average person pulls back and assumes "they're both equally bad and its too complicated to understand". Slava Ukraini. Free Palestine.

Take your bags, board a flight and apply for asylum. You have a good case, and any country in the EU would be lucky to have you.

It turns out that humans aren't good people

Roman! I'd like your take and views on Israel and their policies. I've seen many people with complete cognitive dissonance when it comes to Russia and Israel. Would love your take on it.

What's "Haiga Zuzdai"? (I cant even look it up as i dont know how it's spelled)

I honestly don't see a problem with that. (The game by itself, not the whole Russian government spiel behind it) Plenty of games out there that send a dubious political message. Name a random FPS set in a modern warfare setting and the villains are usually Middle Eastern or Russian. Not Chinese mind you, god forbid you lose the $$$ on the Chinese market. Just don't buy the game if you don't agree with the message. Its really that simple.

Of course it isn't the same. However, I don't think that it's necessarily a bad thing to draw parallels to the abuses of our own governments in the West. As an example, we see blatant racism called "criticism" and actual criticism (eg on the horrible crimes of allies in Israel, Saudi et) called out as "anti-Semitism" or "phobic" when it suits the narrative. And the atrocities just continue despite "our" full knowledge of them.

I'm a Socialist from Denmark. Authoritarianism is wholly incompatible towards the goal of enfranchising the average citizen and achieving equal opportunity for all. Being a patriot is having the balls to stand up to whatever BS and injustice in your country and speaking out about it, especially if it isn't easy or necessarily safe to do so. Cheers

You didn't say anything wrong. Eastern Slavs have a large pool of shared genes effectively making it infeasible to discriminate between eg a Belarusian, a Russian or a Ukrainian. Same thing for Iberians and Scandinavians to a lesser degree. And once you're in continental Europe, it's a genetic free for all...

I would go as far as calling the US "semi democratic". But I'd still choose to live in the worst US state (whatever metric you'd use for that) rather than my choice anywhere in Russia. I'm just too used to opening my mouth and saying what I think... Best regards A European Socialist

Dubai has institutionalised modern slavery as a basis for their economy. Go figure.

Sure. Unless you don't happen to be white...

Let them leave. Nothing would make us happier.

Infographics show is really, really bad.

@picklejuice4638 That's your takeaway from this? Did you even watch the video and what Roman was discussing? Or did my particular viewpoint just not compute with your simplistic world view? I'm not religious and yet I got this exact shit from people like you for my entire life. Thank you for proving my point.

I disagree: There are no bad people (as a group), there are bad nations.

Wait, I'm confused... Didn't they say the parties were LGBT? Is this like the Russian version of "don't ask don't tell"?

This guy gives me Ben Shapiro vibes, but with an extra chromosome...

I know it's not the same, but it reminds me of the post 9/11 atmosphere where anyone writing against the Bush administration or American policies that helped criminals like Al Qaeda grow, would face harassment, death threats, get fired and ultimately face terrorism charges.
