If/when Labour is elected and the Cons (a more apt name, I believe) are out of power, it would be the time to push for reform of the electoral system to better represent the values of your people. The 2 party system simply doesn't work for the common person. Otherwise you're stuck with no alternatives should Labour continue the now proud British tradition of fucking up government and people's lives... Just an observation from a European lefty.

  9. This talk off military re-armament is completely misguided. No one in NATO needs to spend more than 2% of GDP. Id even argue that 1,5% is more than adequate. Spend the last 0,5% on strategic threats (ICBM defense, cyber security or energy research, the latter which would benefit us all in the end.) To keep shoving money into conventional forces which Russia frankly has no hope of matching is sheer folly.
