  1. It really doesn't matter that much. It's not like they're contributing their fair share to the economy anyway... And if their companies are operating in the UK, the absolute difference is literally pennies on the dollar.

  2. A tax on revenue instead of profits. 1) Businesses suddenly can't buy their wares from daughter companies in tax havens for inflated prices. 2) A focus on quality products instead of mass volume of low quality, cheap crap. = Bonus for environment.
