  1. Its fine. With automation and AI, fewer people are needed to sustain a larger ageing population. As long as health and education jobs are made attractive (nursing, teaching, social services), it might even be a hidden boon to have a declining working age population while we transit to a different economy. Fewer people with no job prospects and having solely to rely on government benefits. Added bonus: A few more years before we screw the planet into a coma...
