Which one? The one Hamas committed or the one Israel is currently committing? Or do you mean the Israeli policies of illegal settlements, occupation and extrajudicial killing of civilians in general that has been happening the last 5-6 decades?
12
Some did see it coming and they warned us time and time again. If Israel doesn't change the prospects for Palestinians other than misery, humiliation and extrajudicial killings, they will have nothing to lose and will resort to any method to inflict the largest amount of hurt on their occupiers.

Iran has been "months away from the bomb" since the early 2000s. And judging by the belligerence of the US and outright attacks by Israel, they've been pushed into the corner of obtaining nuclear weapons now. Remember who it was that reneged on the nuclear arms deal with Iran?
5
This show is nothing more than regurgitated Neo-Conservative agenda disguised as a weekly report on conflicts. Do your job properly or stop this festival of ignorance. Unsubbed.

Simon Whistler is a brilliant presenter, but when you watch the "behind the scenes" footage you find out how uninformed he actually is. No biggie. Just remember that old beardie is a mouthpiece.
3
"Embassy raids" ? NO. It was a deliberate bombing of a consulate. A war crime, act of terror and outright cause for war! Iran has never committed a direct act of hostility towards Israel before now. Israel has on the other hand committed numerous acts of bombings on Iranian soil, including the sites of nuclear reactors (!). And yet, many governments have condemned Iran's attacks, while not even mentioning with a sentence the acts that Israel committed against Iran... People, we either have principles or we don't. And looking at the collective West's titanic moral corruption when it comes to Israel, we have lost everything we spent generations building towards.

Yeah, those 10s of sea drones are really going to change the outcome of a land war with Russia... Meanwhile, Russian factories are pumping out 10 x the artillery shells than what the collective West has tried to supply to Ukraine. How fucking pathetic has the media become that these are the positive stories we have to repeat to give a sense of hope for Ukraine in the conflict?
2
Its not a turning point in Ukraine. Even Napoleon couldn't turn it around if he doesn't have the men and material. UAF just pulled back from "fortress Avdiivka" which Ukraine has held since 2014. We need to face realities instead of recklessly throwing away more Ukrainian lives and running countless more, just to spite Russia.
2
The EUs "strategic autonomy" imperative somehow doesn't include an ability to be self sufficient in production of electronics, super conductors, steel and weapons. Let's face it: NATO is just another market for American weapons, and in financing their jobs and corporations.
2
It's over. The colonial project has failed. There is nowhere more unsafe for Jews than Israel. And people everywhere are outraged, despite the absurd efforts of media and governments around the globe to "shield" us from what's happening.
2
Simon is a great presenter but when you see the bloopers you realise that he has absolutely no knowledge on any of the subjects he informs about. Just wanted to put it out there.

End the occupation and settlements and there will be no "war". Sorry, but you're not a victim of you're the occupier and oppressor. This was a very foreseeable consequence of Israeli brutality. It saddens me that Israeli Jews have learned nothing from the past about "blood and soil" and viewing yourselves as inherently better than other people's...

This is just Trump's usual antics. NATO is ramping up every thinkable story to induce fear in the population and justify the reason for its existence. The truth is that NATO is a deteiment to Europe. We should be partners with the US and Russia. Not vassal states in the US' meaningless and costly rampage to remain "top dog" at all costs. When has a European politician ever called for war any against anyone? Yet American Congress people (even important ones) come out with these insane comments on a weekly basis: "Bomb Iran. Attack Russia. Engage China". These people are imperial hegemons and we should extricate ourselves from them before our young men and our treasure is spent on more of their moronic campaigns for supremacy.

Send them F35's lend lease. Might as well test out the new toys.
1
Maybe just mention the Somalis killed in Mogadishu too? Especially the civilian casualties deserves a mention.
1
It's an unimportant war with wholly unimportant events. Yes, that includes the combustible parts of Washington D.C. Meanwhile in Europe: The world order until WWI was effectively being created...

"Home by Christmas, Boys!" - Every arrogant moron before declaring war

Yeah. Racist Poles who don't like migrant but are themselves the largest migrsnt group in Europe. The biggest beneficiary of the EU and yet it's biggest "critic" at home. But sure, you're good on defence.
1
This is a very bad show simply repeating the basic news without any analysis.

Does Brexit fall under this video?

From a strategic standpoint, I can't understand why Russia "only" annexed Crimea in 2014, and then attempted the takeover of Ukraine 8 years later. It bought Ukraine prescious time to organize their forces, get support from the West and achieve valuable battle experience in the fighting in Donetsk and Luhansk. The answer is probably that they didn't have the strength, but you'd assume that they at least would've exploited Trump being president in 2016-2020 in a bid for Ukrainian territory and/or submission.

End the occupation, end the settlements. It's that simple for Israel to achieve peace. I guarantee that groups like Hamas would have no reason to exist if ordinary Palestinians had hope for their future and their children's futures. As it is now, the future is bleak and they have nothing to lose. Go figure.
1
The Netanyahu government had explicitly allowed Hamas to maintain power to sow disunity among the Palestinians and use it as an excuse as there was "no single representative" of the Palestinian people to negotiate with. They probably even knew about the attack, but couldn't imagine the losses would be so high. Good old BiBi. Nothing matters like your approval numbers when you're waiting to be indicted for crimes.
1
There has been "war in the middle east" since 1967 Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories. The Iranian attack was nothing more than a diplomatic exchange designed to save face and de-escalate the situation. As an added bonus it was a demonstration to test the Israeli air defenses. The attack on iran's Embassy in Syria was not only an act of War but an outright war crime.

The only nation that wreck the US is the US. And they're doing a pretty good job so far...
1
If you have no winter gear and shit logistics, General Winter doesn't give a fuck about who you're fighting for. The Russians' advantages in every conflict have been manpower and strategic depth. They're unwilling/incapable of marshalling the required manpower, and the war isn't being fought on Russian soil.
1
Ah yes, the Swiss. The #1 facilitator of blood diamonds & gold, vast wealth hidden away by dictators and whitewashing cartel and mafia funds. That's aside from the tax loopholes and outright evasion they dabble with, of course.
1
The Ukrainians lack the artillery and air power to breach the heavily defended Russian lines. Unfortunately for Ukraine, the media's focus on their successes created impossible expectations for Ukraine, which in the end may backfire when/if the public opinion shifts away from continued material and economic support. It's a modern World War I, but heavily favouring the Russian ability to absorb the attritional losses.

@Zenith118 You should read up on your history, my friend. Just because you disagree and it doesn't fit with your views, doesn't make it less factual. If you can't even imagine the possibility that you could be in support of "one of the baddies", chances are you already drank the kool-aid.

0% chance of conflict. But the fact that Western media and politicians side with Greece, instead of looking at the rational and fair solutions, is one more reason why Turkey shouldn't trust the West.
1
It's crazy to consider how well armed the US military is considering post cold war no one is even close to being a legitimate threat to the US.
1
Don't shoot, Britain! The last decade has shown us you have a tendency to shoot your own feet every single time.
1
They've been killing Palestinians with impunity since 1948. But it's okay, it's just brown people. Despite Israelis being just as brown as Palestinians...
1
Ukraine is employing just as much propaganda as the Russia. Just a thing to remember when you watch the inevitable avalanche of uncritical media reports in our countries.
1
This is BS. Israel has had the jackboots of their military on Palestinian necks for 3 generations. Occupation, Settlements and the siege of Gaza are all acts of war. And make no mistake, Hamas is the symptom, Israeli occupation is the cause.
1
You mean like the US in Afghanistan?
1
10:37 20 million battle tanks destroyed? That's one hell of an afternoon...
1
Oh, In sorry? Your Amazon package is a bit late while your government is supporting a genocide or at the very least unwilling to condemn and speak out against it?
1
The US government can barely control the crazy yahoos armed to the teeth. I dont see anyone else being successful.
1
Some elements are indeed seeking political reform. But mostly it's just the US trying to establish yet another puppet state. Why else would the US maintain economic sanctions on an impoverished country? Well, it's not because they're undemocratic. Plenty of US allies are outright hostile to human rights... No. This revolution has all the hallmarks of the 2014 CIA operation known as the "EuroMaidan revolution" in Ukraine.
1
Are you fucking kidding me? The US could the entire conflict tomorrow: Equitable and equal peace. Palestine on the 1967 borders as agreed yet and yet again by the international community. Peacekeepers and obswrvers to guarantee the accords. Done. The US has never been a fair broker or negotiated in good faith. They've simply served the interests of Israel to the level of hurting US interests and their own citizens.

This WASN'T England's first civil war. Ever heard of the Anarchy? How about a little thing called War of the Roses? It's really hard to take this seriously if the title is factually wrong...
