  1. There has been "war in the middle east" since 1967 Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories. The Iranian attack was nothing more than a diplomatic exchange designed to save face and de-escalate the situation. As an added bonus it was a demonstration to test the Israeli air defenses. The attack on iran's Embassy in Syria was not only an act of War but an outright war crime.
