  1. Some elements are indeed seeking political reform. But mostly it's just the US trying to establish yet another puppet state. Why else would the US maintain economic sanctions on an impoverished country? Well, it's not because they're undemocratic. Plenty of US allies are outright hostile to human rights... No. This revolution has all the hallmarks of the 2014 CIA operation known as the "EuroMaidan revolution" in Ukraine.
