The genocide was going to happen no matter what. The only difference was if it would happen faster under Trump and whether or not to give Americans plausible deniability for the blood on their hands. Maybe, just maybe, the rest of the world will be so fed up with Israel that they would implement economic and political actions. It was only ever a meager hope.
