  1. How do we deal with legacy media misinformation? The sad truth is that major media care more about "spectacle" than actual important subjects that we should be informed about. That's part of the reason why people have flocked to alternative news sources. They don't trust their mom and dad's news sites, and they shouldn't. Just look at the suppression of news on Ukraine and Israel in the US and Europe compared with available news in the rest of the world on the subjects.

  2. And how do we deal with systematic suppression of news from legacy media? Free press have become beholden to three things: Their owner. Their ad revenue. And the goodwill of their state collaborators. They do NOT in fact seek to inform about the important subjects, but instead seek to create the narrative themselves. Plenty of examples: Iraq War. 2008 Financial Crisis. Egypt Arab Spring. And more recently: Provable, verified news about Israel and Ukraine that is seemingly suppressed or willfully ignored because it doesn't fit the narrative. It's part of the reason why people seek (dis)information elsewhere - because we can no longer trust our regular news sources to be neutral nor objective.
