@biggamer7876 You enjoy reductive analysis, don't you? Please read up on the history of Zionism and Jewish settlers from 1917-1947. Furthermore, the UN decision to grant the settlers the land was not legally binding, it was a GA decision that didn't even represent half the globe because of colonialism. All Arab countries, I've the ones impacted by the decision voted NO. Thirdly, the war was initially a civil war where armed Jewish-Israelis largely terrorised and expelled Palestinians from their homes. Then the Arab nations "started the war". Read up on that timeline too. Nothing Israel has ever done was in fact in self defense, as they always seek to take more land after every conflict. You need to move a bit away from the sanitized US/Europe version of history that is based on their guilt for allowing the slaughter of Jews to happen in the first place.

@aidan473 Not all Jews are Zionists, that is absolutely true. But almost all Jews in Israel are in fact in agreement with the mass slaughter of Palestinians. That's their own polls from December 2024. So I'll amend my original statement to "Jewish Israelis".

@hijackdallas6052 That's historically wrong. The Zionist movement was already in full force and advocating for Jewish migration to Palestine well before WW2. Tens of thousands of Jews had already migrated after the Balfour pact made with the UK in 1917. The two state solution died in the late 90's with Netanyahu and Sharon. There are almost 800.000 illegal settlers in Palestine. Almost x4 as many as there was when the Oslo treaty was signed. What does that tell you? That Israel never wanted two states, nor an equal peace. It was always a lip service. Saying you would support a two state solution, although you mean well, is like saying "thoughts and prayers" after a mass shooting in the US. It's meaningless and it has never, ever made things better for people going forward.

@aidan473 Your point is well made, however I did in fact look at the "facts". Jews, specifically Israeli Jews, have committed numerous crimes in the name of nationhood and/or religion since the 1930s in the Levant. In the last poll, 80% of all Israelis (including Muslims, Christians and Druze ie ethnic Arab Palestinians that make up about 15%) were for the "incursion and response" in Gaza and the West Bank. It's not anti-Semitism to say what I did about Jewish Israelis. Nor would you ie be reprimanded if you said "Germans supported Nazism during WW2" because the vast, vast majority did in fact do just that. Being Jewish isn't solely an ethnicity, in fact the majority of Settlers are historically converts, not of Semitic origin and have had little to no heritage from the Middle East.

You should be in distress over how Germany fully supported Israels genocide in Gaza and tried banning peaceful protests, yet allows AfD to march on the streets. 0 for 3 Germany on being the right side of genocide. Yeah, I read about Germany's "exploits" in Africa as well.
