  1. This is fearmongering bullshit. Hezbollah neither wants nor gains anything from attacking Cyprus. Their threat was specifically if they rendered military aid in an Israeli campaign- which would make them defacto co-belligerents in Israels war. I don't know your work or your channel, but this comes off as reactionary propaganda 101.

  2. Well, the current world system is essentially realpolitik on steroids. Countries are condemned for illegal or morally reprehensible actions, whilst other countries are allowed to go about their barbaric business because powerful nations have an interest in maintaining good diplomatic and/or trade relations. The examples are legion. The worst form of moral or legal authority is an arbitrary one.
