I'm what Truss might call "anti-growth" You know, proper investment in the education and health of citizens. Curtailing the worst greed and avarice of markets and companies with no social responsibility. Protecting the environment and hopefully shielding our children from further ecological decline of our planet. There's a word for endless growth in finite sorroundings in the natural word: Cancer.

@londoneboy29 I'm assuming you're addressing me as the OP. The current UK government views spending on healthcare, education and social services as purely an expenditure. As data from especially the US but also "developed social democracies" has shown, providing people with the same basic (and affordable) services to make the most of their lives provides social mobility out of poverty, expenses spared on prevention instead of treatment and kids not starving (!). Thousands of bright minds, brilliant innovation and solutions for the future are strangled in the cradle because your government has decided to treat people like a product in a business instead of tapping into their vast potential if they were only given a chance. Anything else I'd refer you to experts on the details, but it definitely starts with the opposite of what the Tories are trying to do.
