  1. Zeihan is spot on with the global system and the dependence on strategic resources. However, the demographic fear mongering about smaller generations to support an ageing population (in general, I agree that China is screwed) doesn't even consider automation, digitisation and and a more equitable distribution of wealth and tax burdens. The latter is the most important. Without that, we'll just see a return to the 1930's...
