And Israels occupation and systematic oppression has been underway for 56 years. Hamas is sadly a result of an inhumane Israeli state and the US that maintains their support for them despite their numerous crimes.

@Rita1984 Sources please. And not American or Israeli ones. Do you believe that cutting off food and water to 2.5 million people is anything but cruelty? How about killing 3500 children? You know, more than 9.11... For Gaza, the amount of children killed compared to their population alone is 150 x 9.11's.

@Guildofarcanelore Bullshit. Hamas has never been an existential threat to Israel. Stop that crap. If you're an occupying country, you cannot claim self defense. It's as simple as that. Secondly, Palestinians have suffered far longer than Hamas has existed. That tells me two things: - Israel has never been interested in true peace. They wanted pacification and domination. - Israels denial of hope and opportunities to the Palestinians in their own state has ultimately caused the creation of Hamas. Oh, and they're verifiably committing genocide now because their leaders have openly declared their intent. It's in fact Palestinians who would be annihilated.
