The Roman Empire, for all its achievements, was a regime that was beyond brutal to anyone beyond its citizens. We should be glad it ended when it did and allowed for other cultures to challenge the greco-roman notions of being "civilised".

NerdRotic, Critical Drinker and that whole cohort are a bunch of ragebait grifters. They are part of why the internet has become the cesspool it is because somehow everything they happen to dislike suddenly becomes "because of woke" without them even defining what they mean. There are plenty of videos done on their hypocrisy, disturbing views, bait'n'switch titles and bad faith arguments. I'll leave it there.

You need to let the video people finish their sentences, as it breaks up the flow of what they're saying and actually makes your own point harder to follow. Otherwise excellent stuff.

This is so stupid, but it's harmless. The same people outraged over this were completely silent with the usual "rabble" portrayal of Persians in historic movies, The Last Samurai or every important Roman being white and blonde despite clear evidence to the contrary in some certain cases.

@kellerblair2952 Not at all. They're grifters because they insert their politics into every show they hate - yet they somehow continue to watch every single episode (?). They make "controversial titles" for their videos and then switch them a week after, knowing fully well it acts as ragebait if not being outright bigotry. Plenty of other tubers have made videos outlining their contradictive statements, their messaging and their behaviour. They're not good people.
