  1. The Roman Empire, for all its achievements, was a regime that was beyond brutal to anyone beyond its citizens. We should be glad it ended when it did and allowed for other cultures to challenge the greco-roman notions of being "civilised".

  2. What the fuck are you talking about? The Roman empire was in every metric considered beyond evil today. The fact that you think the West is doing poorly because they're not in absolute hegemonic dominance of everything tells me what you consider to be "western values", mate. Go read a bit of history and get back to us...
