The war is effectively over for Ukraine. They have done more than anyone ever expected, but Ukraine needs to seek a settlement like Finland did in the 39' Winter War, if they can have any hope of a functional state in the future. There is simply no way that Ukraine can make up for their lack of manpower and the lag in equipment from their allies. The war is costly for Russia, but absolutely untenable for Ukraine.

@geesehoward700 Any quote can be used, more importantly abused, for the point you're trying to make. That's the reason why MLK, Ghandi and Jesus are quoted even by warmongering bigots. Which brings me back to my point: Try saying something factual and timely instead of relying on historic (smart) people that would be positively lost in our world, and probably disagreed with you to begin with.

@nobodyherepal3292 "Appeasement" is throwing lives and treasure away to, hang on, "appease" the NeoCon warhawks and their corporate masters. Appeasement is supporting Israel no matter what when it's clear to all they are war criminals. The conflict in Ukraine is far more complicated than just "Putin bad", although that's a good point. You need to start asking questions about our own media and what story they're to sell us to make us approve their belligerence. This is Iraq all over again. I'm not falling for that BS, just like I didn't the first time.

@AlphaSections My thoughts are just as much on the thousands if not millions of Ukrainians that will have their lives destroyed because the US views them as pawns on a chessboard. Nowhere on earth do you so consistently hear politicians call for war as American politicians do. It's as if they have no idea of the tragedy and chaos their policies are creating around the world, as long as they can get their cheap gas and call themselves #1. I don't believe the US is a force for good any more (if they ever were). They're just another force looking out for their own best interests at any cost - which is very dear to the rest of us.

That's a piece of shit callous way to look at it, and frankly the reason why no one trusts the US. Ukrainian and Russian lives should matter to you, you sociopath. Hundreds of thousands (if not millions!) of lives will be destroyed if the conflict continues and/or escalates in intensity, and it's effectively over for Ukraine to "win" this war. The only thing you will gain from this is filling the Russians with revanchist resolve and further fuel the anti-American sentiment in the global South. Once de-dollarization hits the global economy, and it will after the US illegally froze Russian, Iranian and Afghan assets and denied SWIFT payments to Russia, the 500% GDP to debt ratio of the US will ruin the economy. The US is effectively throwing money at a problem that only exacerbate their own ruin. You can quote me on this in a few years.
