  1. It's already over. Even if Ukraine manages to give Russia a bloody nose, the best result will be something along the current front lines. Ukraine simply doesn't have the manpower and brute force to tangle with the Russians for a prolonged time. I strongly believe that the time for us to act has passed and what we're doing is essentially throwing away Ukraine's future to spite Russia. Although that would in fact be par for the course when it comes to US foreign policy.
