  2. It's China's sovereign right to arm Russia, just as the US has armed numerous parties throughout the last century. The difference is that Russia is a legitimate, albeit brutal and authoritarian regime. Really no different than when the US armed Saddam Hussein. Historical context and a bit of self-criticism matters when you (rightfully) point to dubious actions of other nations.
