  1. The US did indeed succeed in "keeping Germany down" by their sabotage of Nordstream. They weakened both Russia and Germany and created at the same time a monopolistic market for their own LNG exports. Genius, if not outright evil.

  2. It's a blessing in disguise. Europe needs to stand on our own, with our own defense strategy, our own supply lines and our own manufacturing of arms. Why are we sending hundreds of billions and many thousands of jobs every year to the US instead of using it to build up our own strength and capabilities? NATO at this point has become nothing more than a racket for US arms. End it and end our association with a country that won't stand by its allies when it counts. I'd be very worried if I was Taiwan.
