  1. That's an utter and complete lack of responsibility. You can't give a kid that's being bullied a handgun, and then wash your hands from all the consequences, no matter how you spin it. The fact that Ukraine gets far reaching weapons will not change the war in any meaningful way. It'll merely aggravate the risks for escalation and the unnecessary loss of lives.

How is it that Israel, a country that isn't under any existential threat and is credibly accused of genocide, is given an arms "carte blanche" including artillery shells, while Ukraine, a country literally fighting for its life, is nickel'ed and dime'd with every shipment of arms and supplies? Makes you think if the war in Ukraine has in fact the purpose of defeating Russia or if it is, like we saw in Syria, a proxy war designed to bleed the parties white no matter the cost in human suffering and lives. I believe it's the latter.
