  1. Although you're not wrong about the somewhat arbitrary borders drawn up, there has only been one nation involved in international conflict: Iraq. (Fully supported by the West until they turned on Kuwait, btw) The Palestine conflict is not a war per se It's a defacto apartheid colonial conflict. Everything else have been civil wars, but largely based in already intermingled populations (Syria, Lebanon & Yemen). No amount of redrawn borders short of ethnic cleansing would solve those issues. Now add to that the geostrategic interests and proxies (Israel, Iran, Saudi, US and Russia) and it's absolutely more complicated than borders or cultural issues at play.
