We need a rational and calm discussion distinguishing historical importance of a figure, and not always relative to contemporary values. How many presidents were Homophobes? Racists? Misogynists? If you don't push back and vote, America will become a quasi fascist state when the inevitable recession hits because of poor policies, followed by roll backs of civil rights because of "domestic terrorism & violence" caused by anti-gov protesters and critics and then you'll see expansion of wartime executive powers (hint: Iran suddenly becomes a "nuclear threat" to Israel).
