  1. The stock market has NEVER been a predictor health in a economy. If anything, history shows it's the opposite. A "strong" stock market usually shows over evaluation of assets and precedes a bubble. Everyone, especially financial journalists, needs to get their heads out of their ass. Wanna be scared? Remember the mortgage default swap calamity? The US has a credit card default swap con running it's course right now. It's valued at 8-10x the mortgage bubble. Get your head out of your ass.
