  2. For almost all Americans, it's never about the chaos they cause abroad. Bush W was re-elected after the illegal war in Iraq. Obama was re-elected after increasing drone warfare (and civilian casualties) by an order of magnitude. These are not referendums on morality, legality or even basic humanity.
