Ohhh America. Always on the wrong side of history.... Land was illegally seized under racist laws. That invalidates any current ownership if the land was illegally seized. Yes, it's a mess, but it's justice for the bereft families. And NO it doesn't matter if the next owners turn it into a dump. Just like you can't take my house just because you're a better decorator than me. If the Palestinians took their lands back in Jerusalam and the West Bank 20-30 years from now, I wouldn't see a single problem with that either. Justice . The farmers should be mildly compensated, but no more than that. They (ie their families) have benefitted immensely from Apartheid laws when it was going strong. The Americans don't like it because it means that native nations might be vindicated if they seek legal action against the federeal government with regards to illegal seizure of property.
