  1. Your entire premise is fallacious with regards to the status of reserve currency. The Euro is not a contender for a new reserve currency, as the ECB has no saying in national fiscal policy. Greece (and others) after 2008 made sure that the Euro is now effectively ineligible. That leaves us with the RNB. Market manipulation, lack of transparency, corruption and a history of belligerence wih its neighbours. Yeah, no, that's not going to happen. The global system is probably winding a bit down, the USD is being used less, but overall it doesn't mean anything, except for the fact that Americans in the future can't just print more money when they've run a 10 years consecutive budget deficit. Which is a good thing for any economy.
