  2. @whyjnot420  You really didn't get the point of the Shelley poem, did you? It's about hubris. And no one is looking at this from a religious point of view, in fact you'll find most Muslims are absolutely enraged about this when people are starving in their own countries...

  3. This is the equivalent of "let them eat cake". Millions are poor in Saudi Arabia. Many millions more around the world. Imagine what 2 trillion $ could do in medicine, science, climate research or just investing in technology, education and high value manufacturing in Saudi Arabia if you don't want to "help people" per se. Hell, how about agriculture and desalination plants just so you're not dependent on other countries for food? Musk isn't the richest man in the world. He's not even close to the wealth available to the Saud family. And they're squandering every dollar instead of leaving a legacy and be remembered for doing something truly great.
