  1. The biggest plot hole with lightsabers is this: Why isn't purposefully turning blades on and off during combat (eg when you know your opponent is moving to block you) not an integral part of lightsaber combat? Or having more than one blade, throwing them and activating them with the force? They've missed out on some truly original and delightfully weird fight/action scenes when they don't include these elements.
