I dare to say that no matter the horrible demography of Russia, Ukraine's is far worse. Especially considering that many hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians have no intention of ever coming back. And I can't blame them...

It'll be fine. A bit of automation, AI and some time and it's pretty much a boon that you don't have large generations of youth that can't find a job because it's all been automated. The demography scare is solely based on the mantra of "infinite economic growth" which is idiotic on a planet with finite resources.
