It's not about Hamas in the end. It's about using them as an excuse to expel Gazans from their lands and annex Gaza into Israel.

Isn't Ezra Klein part of the NY Times journalists that have been running cover for the genocide in Gaza the past year? Of course, it doesn't negate any other opinion they might have, but it sure as hell makes it "awkward" when they're airing and abetting mass murderers, while critiquing others for far less reprehensible behaviour (Trump, fyi, agrees with the NY Times and Ezra Klein on this particular issue).

Of course. Donald Trump has been a piece of shit his entire life. He has never been a proper human being and I can't recall Donald Trump ever saying or doing anything that seemed remotely decent. I'm not even sure if he became an asshole because of his horrible father anymore...

One is the occupier, the other is subject to the brutal occupation. Hamas wouldn't exist if Israel didn't flagrantly break every resolution and international law. Israeli cruelty, aided and funded by US tax dollars.

@reuvenpolonskiy2544 "Judea and Samaria"... I see we have a supremacist Zionist among us. No. They don't have the right to that land. That's settled international law, not an opinion - no matter what some fictious old book would make you believe. Also, I believe there were Philistines inhabiting these areas even in your "sources". How you can selectively try to erase an entire people after what Europeans attempted to do to you, is beyond me. The lies you people have to tell yourselves just to justify your crimes... I'd say shame on you, but you've already proven yourself shameless

@karenkaren3189 Sure. Left in 2005 and besieged them in 2006. Which is equal to an act of war and occupation, and depriving a population of essential goods (medicine, fuel, building materials) is collective punishment. Why did they leave if there was a group "dedicated to their destruction"? I'll tell you why: To divide the Palestinians and use it as an excuse for stalling and/or reneging on their commitments. Internal memos from Netanyahus cabinet has been leaked and revealed this.

@karenkaren3189 And they have already drawn out plans to "evict" = ethnically cleanse the population. On top the killing of children, of course. Look up the Israeli Ministry of Intelligence report that was leaked a few days ago. The US were willing to foregive Egyptian debt if they would receive them. Egypt refused because Sisi knows it would end him. Look it up.

As a Palestinian in the diaspora, I find your statement to be utterly vile. Biden has NOT treated us Palestinians "with empathy", he in fact has facilitated, funded and armed the current ethnic cleansing and campaign of murder, starvation and terror against my people. He could end it with one phone call. And he no longer has a re-election to worry about. So why is he and the US administration compelled to cover for vile criminals like Netanyahu & his cabinet? If you ever believed Biden to be an empathetic human being, you've been had, my friend. Ask other groups within the US itself, black people, LGBT etc whether Biden has ever had their back until it became mainstream and acceptable to do so. He's an old white bigot and may he rot in hell along with the rest of these greedy, powerful purveyors of hate that have caused so much pain and suffering in this world.
