  1. I'm no fan of Erdogan, but this analysis is extremely biased. Europe and the US have consistently treated Turkey as a second rate nation instead of an equal. And while Erdogan is increasingly problematic in his policies, the silence regarding other allies such as Israel, Egypt and Saudi speaks volumes. Turkey is looking out for themselves just like any other country does. It just seems to annoy everyone that they're open about it instead of acting in abject servitude as is expected of them.
