  1. For all their talk of honour and chivalry, these medieval lords and knights were nothing more than greedy, scheming snakes. The lot of them. Being honourable is a bit like heterosexuality. If you constantly have to speak about it, changes are you're compensating for something.

  3. You're assuming that Scots and Welsh have to militarily fight for their independence. That's a bit of a stretch, although not entirely an impossible scenario. It's more likely that they'll secede when they see that there are greater benefits to being independent and in the EU, than being shackled by Westminster and an increasingly irrelevant England.
