  8. I disagree - highly. If you're introduced to critical thinking at an early age, yes you'd be more sceptical towards authority. But the same goes for conspiracies and unhinged information where no proof is provided. At the very least you'd now the difference between hypothesis and theory in science. The prevalence of conspiracy theories is directly correlated to the peoples trust in their governments AND their level of education. I can't remember the studies done but I'll try to dig them up for you. Science is a big part of education but not all of it. Understanding economy and politics is also a huge factor. So while I don't disagree that these people are very hard to convince, let me amend my solution: 1) Money out of politics 2) Better quality of basic education ie. free education Those two by themselves would go a hell of a long way to mitigate the mouth breathers out there... But neither are in the interest of politicians today...

  14. I don't know if he's toxic, but he loses me on Russia/Syria. And it doesn't help at all that he's working for RT. Don't get me wrong, I think that RT is an excellent news source for non-Russia news, but I feel that Dore never has overtly criticized Russia the way he criticizes the Establishment in the US (and rightly so). It's always nuanced, but it's never wrong to add more news outlets to your sources for perspective. That includes RT and Jimmy Dore.

And keep hammering the real issues home. Most of your viewers hate Trump anyway, and most of his supporters don't care what he does or says. Focus on the issues at hand and the 3-7% of voters that can be swayed instead.

Having said that: What constitutes "terrorism" if you're deemed an illegal occupying force by the country's own people and they violently resist by killing your soldiers? I'm sorry my American friends, but suicide bombs and IED's that only kill soldiers are NOT terrorism. It's "unfair" sure, but so are drones etc. It's at best asymmetrical warfare. And when the last depleted uranium shell, cluster munitions, butterfly rounds and white phosphorous is disallowed by the US - and our allies in Israel and Saudi - we can start talking about whom the terrorists are in these conflicts.

  41. Why is it bad that overvalued stocks in a heated economical expansion are losing value ie returning to more reasonable value? It doesn't prevent the coming bubble, but will certainly curb the worst results of a potentially overheated economy and record low interest rates. Just my 2 cents
