The ICC should let them bring it. Go to town. The world stand with justice, not corrupt US politicians and their AIPAC masters.

"The fox swam with the scorpion on its back. The scorpion then stung the fox, knowing it had promised not do so and that they would both drown, but it couldn't resist... because it was in its very nature"

China and Islam, yeah, that's almost half the world. Good luck with that.

No, we don't. But if they can help bring down the American hegemony, then we're all for it.

Zelensky is a fool. He could've handled Trump easily by dousing him with flowery words, giving him a BS medal and giving a small meaningless concession. Trump would've backed down and given them most of what they wanted. He's a horrible negotiator. It's what Canada and Mexico figured out and did with the threat of tariffs.

This was excellent. Thank you. Subbed.

There are dates on the articles he cites. He doesn't have to say 2024 every single time...

When they said "The South shall rise again" this wasn't what the colonial racists exactly had in mind...

I'm a Palestinian Muslim and a Dane. I'm legitimately scared for my family here with the development of the rhetoric these past 10+ years and the avid support for Israel in our government and media, to the point where none can be trusted anymore. In a few years the fascists here will start copying the US and we'll start seeing open racist, islamophobic marches and systemic violence... Wasn't counting on a "repeat of the 30's" a hundred years later in Europe, but here we are...

We will never forget

At this point, anything that'll challenge the arrogant hegemony of the US (of Israel) and their allies, is a welcome change towards consensus and multipolarity.

Why is it that Cuba is still under a US trade embargo 60 years later? Can anyone defend this?
2
This is the beginning of the end for western hegemony and cruelty towards the Global South

Fuck the US, their policies and their "rules based order". Best regards A Palestinian living in the diaspora

@ruiFF77 You're probably right. But he should've "played the game" even before arranging the visit. Trump would've never ambushed him like that if he had drowned him in superlative flowery language. Just my opinion, of course.

It's funny how the US is always at the center of every major conflict. Create the problem, sell the solution? Except people are realising that all this mayhem and slaughter in all likelihood would've been completely.avoidable if the US didn't meddle in the affairs of other nations.

Research by economists should never be considered as "scientific research". They have an agenda based on ideology and rarely supported by empiric examples. It's at best an attempt at prediction (guessing), at worst outright propaganda to influence the markets to help them line their pockets.
1
The only objective Russia and China has at this point is convincing the rest of the world to drop the dollar as the world reserve currency. Once that happens, lean back and watch the fireworks.
1
Partly, but also shifting towards China. They're gearing up for the next wars in Iran and Taiwan. How else would those Raytheon and Lockheed stocks keep going up?
1
@Gormuloid That's not for us to decide, mate. Who the fuck do you think you are and how arrogantly ignorant must you be to just assume that "regime change" is automatically a good thing for a country? Have you people learned nothing from the last 80 years of cluster fucks the US tried with "regime change" in Asia and South America?

Their plans have 2 aims: 1. To switch attention and narrative from the ongoing diplomatic and political humiliation that Israel and the US & UK are suffering from at the moment from the genocide in Gaza. 2. Biden and Sunak will stand for re-election in 2024. Netanyahu will likely do the same no matter the outcome of Gaza. However if they can create a regional conflagration and convince their public that they're in danger and "fighting evil", they just might succeed to convince enough of the populations to elect them once again. It's disgusting, but there is no greater strategy at play here, just protecting Israel and maintaining their own seats of power.

It's pretty clear that the Saudis were threatened into submission by the US. Really, it's just another reason why they should opt out of being under the American yoke.

Except Colombia didn't "fight back". They rolled over almost immediately and gave Trump another political win in the eyes of his supporters. They vindicated his bullying. A true leader would've made their people understand that you can't be friends with someone holding a gun to your temple...

It's not and won't be until they leave behind old superstition, cultural norms and frankly disturbing views on women, Non-Hindus and the poorest among them. Hindu nationalism will kill indian prosperity in its infanct as anyone with talent and a heart would never choose to stay in a place driven by hate and lack of compassion.

Well, nothing usually goes wrong in Germany when the political establishment fails and the economy collapses. Oh, wait...

I'm a citizen of the West. And I wouldn't mind seeing us truly humbled, especially the US, UK and France, and start viewing our fellow human beings as equals instead of this imperial racist hegemony disguised as liberal humanist values.

Say it all with me: De-dollarisation will set us free!
1
Good. Fuck em. Let's see how they deal with debts and deficits when they can't just print on and flood the global market causing worldwide inflation.

The sooner the US and UK get a hard lesson in humility and compassion, the better off every single person on this planet will be. These arrogant "exceptional" countries need to realise that the rest of the world despise them not because of who they are, but because of what they do.

The US, by their actions, are causing the very same outcome they're seeking to avoid. 1) The seizure of Russian assets and blocking them from Swift 2) The numerous sanctions on political enemy states without the corresponding sanctions on allied nations for the very same violations 3) The hypocritical reaction to far worse crimes perpetrated by Israel for generations. 4) The unstable nature of US treaties that can be overturned depending on the whims of the next president elect Fact of the matter is that the US cannot be trusted - economically, politically or even morally. I fully understand why BRICS 20 is leading the charge against the US Dollar hegemony in the world. It's their foremost weapon against the US, and the Americans know this.
