  1. Whilst not good, the attack surrounding the Zaporozhye nuclear plant constituted no risk for meltdown or other catastrophic events. The media has a habit of hugely exaggerating the potential dangers of nuclear plants and it does a disservice for a viable stopgap measure for many countries to combat CO2 emissions. Germany being the perfect example of this as their energy sector is now based on coal, the dirtiest energy source, and complete dependence on Russian gas.
