It is a failure of our society when a declaration of intent by Israeli officials to wipe out or expel a population is a matter of politics and not a matter of defending our values and principles. The underlying theme being the outright racism and xenophobia that Muslims have experienced the last generations. There is no way that any of the comments made about Muslims would have resulted in anything but outright condemnation if it was said about any other cultural/religious group.
