  1. If they are brought into the country by border force or the RNLI they are not considered to have entered the country illegally. I knew this would be a massive loophole when this law was passing through parliament.

  2.  @ianjones1034  Border patrol already do go into French waters to pick them up, and have been for a while.

  4.  @g.p616  There is only two logical explanations I can think of. The MP's are a bunch of incompetent pricks. or They did it intentionally because the fact of the matter is they want them here whilst telling the public that they don't.

  5.  @6_million_Jims  Parliament and the Lords collectively are to blame. If I could work it out I am quite sure someone out of that lot could have worked it out. Like I said loopholes are ignored, it's up to you to decide why.
