Vote for anyone but the main parties, if no other party is standing then spoil your ballot paper. Not voting is not a protest, all that achieves is to help these useless politicians stay in power with minimal votes. Cue the trolls 🤪

@Endofdays73 Politicians will stop listening to the likes of Klaus if they realise they may be out of their cushy jobs. Just reducing their vote share will make them panic.

@Endofdays73 There is no end to their greed. The more they have the more they want. So I completely disagree with you there.

@Endofdays73 I think he is confused himself 🤪

@bsimpson6204 They don't need to get in as long as they reduce the main parties vote share that will get them worried. Voting does make a difference, not voting legitimises the status quo.

People need to stop talking lab/lib/Con. It makes no difference whichever of those you vote for. The real power lies with the civil service, it is they who actually run the country. So it makes no difference which of those parties you vote for, they will not put the civil service in their place. Why should they when are basically getting paid to do nothing. Liz truss said the civil service needed to be put in their place and she didn't last long.

@wendynicholss6886 Excellent Wendy 👍 spoiling your ballot paper in areas where no other party is standing will show an appetite to vote for an alternative. It also reduces voter fraud, if you don't use your vote someone else can.

@ianjones2538 Voting will never be made compulsory because at the moment the politicians can hang onto their seats with minimal votes. Look at the last by-elections, if the people who didn't vote, voted for the monster raving looney party as an example, they would have absolutely destroyed the mainstream parties.
